Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Tuesday, August 11, 2009 Mildred Alline Hicks, 74, of Flagstaff, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009. Mrs. Hicks was born Sept. 21, 1934, to Anthem and Grace Minyard in Weslaco, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her husband in Laughlin and playing golf. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by many. Mrs. Hicks is survived by her sons Sandy Hicks and Michael Hicks; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Hicks, and son Terry Hicks. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to prostate cancer research.
