The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 3, 2006 Audrey L. Stubblefield, age 83, died April 28, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, daughter of Oscar L. Chambers and Sarah E. (Rutter) Chambers. Audrey was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse James, Sr.; her son, Jesse James, Jr.; and a grandson, Jesse James III; her parents; brothers, Leroy, Robert, Reginald and Sheldon Chambers. Audrey is survived by her second husband, Wilson "Bud" Stubblefield; son, Sheldon L. James of Michigan; and daughters, J. Carol Dougal of Phoenix, Sarah Kelley of Florida, Shirley Black and Nancy Mead of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Ellie Pucciarella of Pa.; 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Verna Martin and Janet Crawford; and brothers, Russell and Chuck Chambers along with many nieces and nephews. Commemoration services in honor of Audrey will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley with Father Dan Vollmer officiating. There will be a visitation Wednesday May 3, 2006, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley. Arrangements entrusted to Sunrise Funeral Home.
