George W. Furchtsam, 85, of Dewey, Ariz., born Aug. 14, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Sept. 28, 2009, in Prescott, Ariz.

Private cremation will take place at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
