Henry (Hank) Malene, age 89 passed away on May 8, 2006, in Phoenix, Ariz.
In 1960, Henry his wife, and five children relocated from Oil City, Penn. to Scottsdale, Ariz. Later, Prescott became the home of Henry and his wife from 1981 to 2005.
Henry is survived by wife Luzetta Malene, and five children: Ann Riggins and husband Dennis, Dr. Norma Kastre, Ruth Malene, Henrietta De'Ora and husband Dean from California, Dr. Stephen Malene from South Carolina; four grandchildren: Dr. Tammy Kastre of Tucson, Michele Riggins from Texas A & M Medical School, Kenneth De'Ora of ASU, and Christine De'Ora of California; brother John Malene of Ohio, and sister Rose Witherup of Pennsylvania.
He is preceded in death by brothers Louis Malene and Mike Malene.
Henry will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends from several states.
Henry was a WWII veteran, serving as a Master Sergeant in the US Army stateside and abroad.
Henry was a former business owner and sales representative in the automotive industry.
After his retirement Henry volunteered over 5,000 hours at the Veteran's hospital in Prescott. Henry and Luzetta relocated to Phoenix in 2005 to be closer to family.
Memorial Service May 12th, 2 p.m. at Green Acres Mortuary. 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona.
