Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, January 7, 2008 Alice “Juanita” Makarov, age 72, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Hospice Family Care in Prescott. Juanita was born Oct. 5, 1935, in Del Norte, Colo., the daughter of Homer F. Buckbee and Helen M. Davies. Juanita was married to Donald Makarov on July 6, 1956. Juanita and Donald spent many wonderful years together prior to his death. She leaves behind her son, Mark Makarov (Tonya) of Kirkland, Ariz.; daughters, Donna Samorano (Raul) of Tucson, Ariz., and Susan Ozuna (Mike) of Phoenix, Ariz. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Information provided by the survivors.
