COOPER, Clarence, Jr.

West Valley View March 15, 2005 Clarence Cooper Jr., 62, of Avondale died March 10, 2005, in Phoenix. Mr. Cooper was born Sept. 27, 1942, in Tolleson, and after his family moved to Goodyear, he attended schools in the Avondale Elementary School District. Because of a long-term illness, Mr. Cooper never married, and he resided with his parents until their deaths and then moved in with his sister and brother-in-law in Avondale. Mr. Cooper is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Reed of Avondale and Marie Thornton of Phoenix; and three brothers, J.W. Cooper of Coolidge, Jerry Cooper of Tucson and David Cooper of Phoenix. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 17 at Bethesda Church of God in Christ, 617 E. Davis St. in Avondale, followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park in Buckeye. Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
