Casey Jay Haggard, 20, of Gilbert and formerly of Buckeye, died March 5, 2005. 

Mr. Haggard was born April 23, 1984, in Buckeye. After attending Liberty Elementary School and Buckeye Union High School, he moved to Gilbert. There, he attended and graduated in 2002 from Highland High School, where he was active in the Future Farmers of America program. He later worked with Jason Hershberger in training horses. 

Mr. Haggard is survived by his parents, Debbie and Johnny Haggard; one sister, Katie; three brothers, John, Clint and Chad; and his grandmother, Beverly Erb. 

Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. today, followed by a service at 1 p.m., both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Maplewood Ward, 18305 S. Greenfield Road in Gilbert. 

Memorials may be sent to the Casey Haggard Memorial Scholarship Fund at 17721 S. Greenfield Road, Gilbert, AZ 85296.
