Paul R. Scott, 44, of Martinsville, Va., and formerly of Litchfield Park, died March 2, 2005.

Mr. Scott was born July 10, 1960, in Ann Arbor, Mich. He moved with his family to Arizona in 1968, where he lived until his recent move to Virginia. 

Mr. Scott graduated from Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix in 1978, and then attended Northern Arizona University. He was employed in Virginia as a paralegal. 

Mr. Scott is survived by his father, Dr. Frederick Scott of Goodyear; his mother, Dorothy Hill; two sisters, Whitney Witasick and Nina A. Scott; one brother, Dr. Frederick Scott; two stepsisters, Terri Bill and Betsy McNabb; and two stepbrothers, Michael and Dan Bill.

A private service is planned.
