Joey McQueen Armstrong of Whiteriver entered into rest Oct. 18, 2009, at his home in Whiteriver. He was born Dec. 19, 1977, in Phoenix.

Joey is survived by his father, West Armstrong; sisters Westina Armstrong, Paula Armstrong and Erna Bead; brother West Armstong Jr.; and many relatives and friends.

A two-night wake will be held at his residence (719 S. West St.) in Canyon Day at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Canyon Day Miracle Church with Pastor Valentina Begay officiating. 

Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Whiteriver.

Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
