SPANOS, Fujino

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 20, 2009 Fujino Spanos, 83, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at Good Samaritan of Prescott Valley. She was born April 20, 1926, in Fukuoka-Ken, Japan. On Dec. 26, 1963, she married Gilbert Spanos and moved to the United States and settled in California. In 1995 they moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz., to be closer to their son and his family. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and lunching with her neighborhood friends. She was an avid football and baseball fan. She is survived by her son Tommy (Julie) Hirai of Prescott, Ariz., and granddaughter Samantha Hirai of Mesa, Ariz. Please visit www.sunrisefuneralhome.com.
