Lt. Robert McCollom Killed in Action in New Guinea on May 13

SALOME—June 14. Sad news came to Mrs. Mary McCollom Martin recently when she learned that her son Lt. Robert McCollom, was killed in action in New Guinea on Mother’s day, May 13.

A former teacher in Salome, Mrs. Martin has been teaching in Yuma this past term. She plans to visit Lieutenant McCollom’s widow and infant daughter in Chicago this summer.
