The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Aug. 25, 1944 Jack Le Barron, Known Here, Dies in California Many of his old friends here were saddened to learn of the death of Abizer Jack Le Barron, pioneer sheep raiser of the state, which occurred Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. H. Cochran in San Francisco. Mr. Le Barron, age 70, was born in New York State and came to Arizona in 1890 as an Indian fighter. He then engaged in sheep raising and was a frequent visitor in Wickenburg while running his sheep between the southern and northern ranges.
