The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Aug. 25, 1944 Thomas Ficon Dies at Hospital Here Thomas Ficon, a brief resident of Wickenburg, died at 4:50 p.m. August 17th at the Wickenburg Hospital, following a heart attack. Mr. Ficon came here from Phoenix but claimed California as his home, where he had ben engaged in the newspaper business. He was native of Minnesota, where he published a number of newspapers before coming west. He was 71 years of age and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank Dake, Jr., of La Mesa, Calif. The body was cremated.
