The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Feb. 22, 1945 Former Resident of Wickenburg Dies at Veteran’s Hospital Friends whom he made while spending serveral months here recently, will be saddened to learn of the death of Russell C. Harrison which occurred at the Veteran’s hospital at Whipple, Ariz., the morning of February 15. word of his death was sent to The SUN by the widow, from her home in Los Angeles. Mr. Harrison lived here for nearly six months before entering the hospital. In a letter to this newspaper, written shortly before his death, he spoke of his fondness for Wickenburg, its friendly people and expresses the hope that one of these days he town will realize its hope of having a swimming pool and park.
