HARVEY, Darryl Douglas

West Valley View Published October 20, 2004 Darryl D. Harvey, 65, of Buckeye died Oct. 9, 2004, at the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix. Mr. Harvey was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Santa Rosa, N.M. He came to Arizona as an infant with his family, and grew up in the Avondale area. Mr. Harvey later served eight years in the Air Force, after which he returned to the West Valley, where he worked for Lockheed Aircraft at Luke Air Force Base for 18 years. He later was employed by Goodyear Aerospace, Loral and Lockheed Martin. Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elaine; and one son, Douglas, of Huntsville, Ala. A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye. The Rev. Charles Goraieb officiated. Interment was at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park in Buckeye. Memorials may be sent to the favorite charity of your choice. Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
