Joshua Raymond Morgan, 19, of Avondale died Oct. 10, 2004.

Mr. Morgan was born Nov. 21, 1984. He was a student of veterinary 
science at the University of Arizona, working toward a career in 
large-animal veterinary medicine. 

Mr. Morgan was active in the Future Farmers of America, and was a 
past president of the FFA Chapter at Peoria High School, as well as a 
past Arizona Association FFA state officer. He taught young students 
classes on leadership, goal setting and parliamentary procedure.

Mr. Morgan also volunteered for charities such as Sunshine Kids (for 
children with cancer), the Thomas J. Papas School for Homeless 
Children, Ronald McDonald House and Habitat for Humanity.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his parents, Patricia Summers and Larry 
Morgan of Avondale; three brothers, Joe, John and Justin Morgan; his 
stepmother, Kathy; and his grandfathers, Ray Morgan and John Summers.

A service was held Oct. 17 at Peoria High School. Memorials may be 
sent to the Josh Morgan Scholarship Fund, c/o Peoria Agricultural 
Department, 11200 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria AZ 85345.
