Sergio Jacobo Valdez, 22, of Avondale died Oct. 22, 2004, in Phoenix.

Mr. Valdez was born Sept. 1, 1982, in Mexico. He moved to Arizona in 1990, and was a student at Westview High School in Avondale.

Mr. Valdez is survived by one sister, Erika; and three brothers, Miguel, Gilberto and Enrique.

A service was held Oct. 27 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Goodyear. Interment Hill was in Iguala Guerrero, Mexico.
