West Valley View, November 19, 2004 Carlos M. Diaz, 60, of Buckeye died Nov. 16, 2004. Mr. Diaz was born Jan. 30, 1944, in Litchfield Park, and was a lifelong resident of the West Valley. Mr. Diaz is survived by his wife, Angelina; one daughter, Mariana Diaz of Avondale; four sons, Jonathan, Joaquin, Estevan and Michael, all of Avondale; three sisters, Margaret, Virginia and Angie; one brother, Richard; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a recital of the rosary at 7 p.m., at Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Interment will follow at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery in Buckeye. Valley West Funeral Chapel made the arrangements.
