Corenne A. Holmes, 73, of Avondale died Nov. 24, 2004.

Mrs. Holmes was born April 13, 1931, in Wessington Springs, S.D. She moved to Avondale in 1968 with her husband Wayne, who preceded her in death two years ago.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by two sisters, Rosellen Quamen of Great Falls, Mont., and Loeta Solberg of Hudson, S.D.

A service was held Nov. 27 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Goodyear. Interment will be in Wessington Springs, S.D.
