Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Friday, August 25, 1950 RAY DAIR, AGE 56 IS SUMMONED HERE An illness of many years brought death on August 17 in Community Hospital, Wickenburg, to Ray Dair, age 56. The Dair family came to Wickenburg eight months ago from Wittmann and had lived in Arizona a year last June. Recently Mr. Dair had been living in Riverside, Calif., where he was engaged as a spray gun painter. When his illness took a turn for the worse, he returned to Wickenburg the middle of July and entered the hospital here a week later, on July 24. Mr. and Mrs. Dair and their 13-year-old twin daughters, Denelda May and Delores Ray, moved to Arizona from Clare, Michigan. A son, Larry, age 31, and a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Defendorf, reside in Lansing, Mich. Other survivors are a brother, Frank, living in Everett, Mich., and a sister, Mrs. Grace March of Petoskey, in the same state. Funeral services were held last Sunday at 2 p. m. at the Wickenburg Chapel, conducted by Rev. Lee Surber, who is visiting here at the home of his brother, Rev. Charles Surber. Burial followed in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
