The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 15, 2003, p. B7 George Weidmann II, 83, passed away Jan. 8, 2003 in Wickenburg. He was born Nov. 18, 1919 in Chicago, Ill., George retired from the Navy after 45 years and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He is survived by his wife Jean; seven children-Bob Weidmann of texas, Tina Ray, Kathy Reynolds, Clare Wilson of California, Charles Dirr of Wickenburg, Cathie Gazaway of Missouri and Margaret Lauk of Indiana; two sisters, Lil Evans of Indiana, Ester Hepburn of Illinois; Eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
