The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 12, 2003, p. B10 Joy E. Robinson passed away Feb. 27, 2003 in Mesa, Ariz. She was 76. Joy was born June 8, 1926 in Auburn, Calif. She moved to the Los Angeles area with her family. Joy was married April 7, 1946 to Charles (Chuck) Robinson. They moved to Blythe in 1953 where they operated the Blythe Donut Shop and Chuck farmed with his brother Clearence Robinson. In 1988 Joy moved to Wickenburg, Ariz., where she enjoyed going to Laughlin, Nev., and playing bingo. Joy is preceded in death by Chuck, on July 3, 1990, and is survived by her sister Barbara Norris in Indianapolis, Ind.; three children, Joan Frey in Mesa, Ariz., Dale Robinson in Blythe, Calif., and Gaye Robinson in Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
