The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 12, 2003, p. B10 Marie A. Majka, 87, died March 9, 2003 in Sun City West, Ariz. Marie was a Yarnell resident. Marie was born May 25, 1915 in Sheboygan, Wis. She worked as a bank secretary. She was involved in the church since the age of 15. Her life was playing the organ and singing spiritual songs mostly in Sheboygan and Yarnell. She is survived by her husband Chester J. Majka of Yarnell. Marie was preceded in death by her first husband Clay DeSmidt and son James DeSmidt. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 13 at 1 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Yarnell. Pastor Paul Jones will officiate. Arrangements were handled by Wickenburg Funeral Home.
