Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Posted: Wednesday, Nov 4th, 2009 Marquita Renee Patten Truax, 26, of San Carlos passed away on October 23, 2009 in Peridot. She was born on Sept. 27, 1983 in Miami, Arizona to Donna Dillon and Johnnie Ricky Patten. Marquita lived in the San Carlos area her whole life. After receiving her high school education, she went on to receive her C.N.A. Certification and was excited to serve the people and work in the medical field. She enjoyed going walking or jogging, eating, listening to music, texting, and keeping herself beautiful. Marquita was married on February 14, 2006 to the love of her life Tarell Truax. She is survived by her parents, Donna Dillon and Johnnie Patten, her husband Tarell Truax, her daughter Tyra Tarell Truax, and her brother Jose Patten Sr. Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 30, 2009 at New Harvest Church in San Carlos at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in San Carlos Cemetery.
