West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 3, 2004 Josephine Barbaccia LaMantia, 90, of Goodyear died Nov. 19, 2004, at Hospice of Arizona at Freedom Plaza. Mrs. LaMantia was born May 17, 1914, in San Jose, Calif. She was a 45-year employee of Sunsweet Packing, and retired in 1980. She moved to Goodyear with her daughter and son-in-law six years ago. Mrs. LaMantia was preceded in death by her husband, John Salvatore LaMantia. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Spooner and Sheila Wisdom; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021
