BERGSTEN, David Edwin

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 27, 2005 David Edwin Bergsten, 84, a resident of the Casitas Bonitas community near Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, died Dec. 22. Mr. Bergsten was born May 10, 1921, in Essex, Iowa. A graduate of North Central Bible College (now known as North Central University) in Minneapolis, he founded and was pastor of Liberty Gospel Tabernacle in Bloomington and Minneapolis, Minn. The Rev. Bergsten also owned and operated businesses in Glendale and Bloomington, Minn. The Rev. Bergsten is survived by his wife, Phyllis; and their three sons and three daughters. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. today, Dec. 27, at Skyway Church of the West Valley, 14900 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear. A service will be held at 10 a.m., also at Skyway Church of the West Valley. Ganley’s Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
