ASBURY, Margaret E.

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona December 23, 2005 Margaret E. Asbury, 88, of Goodyear, died Dec. 13, 2005, in Phoenix. A native of Wisconsin, Mrs. Asbury came to the West Valley in 1956 when her husband, Walter J. Asbury, was assigned to Luke Air Force Base. She had worked for the U.S. Department of Treasury, O.S.I in Germany and CAT Airlines in Taiwan. She was a lifelong member of United Methodist Church. Mrs. Asbury is survived by her husband of more than 60 years, Walter; three daughters, Margo L. Sothard of Glendale, Christine M. Bushman of Virginia and Katherine L. Asbury of Lake Havasu City; one sister, Christabel Marcinko of California; and four grandchildren. A service was held Dec. 16 at Sun West Cemetery in Sun City West. The Rev. Duane Coombs of Christ Community United Methodist Church in Avondale officiated. Memorials may be sent to Community United Methodist Church, 104 W.
