HILLIARD, Anna Verde

Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Friday, March 5, 1943 Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ross Cleeland at the chapel in Aguila last Thursday for Anna Verde Hilliard, who passed away in the Wickenburg Hospital February 23, following an illness of almost a year. Mrs Hilliard had resided at Aguila since 1916 and leaves many friends there and in Wickenburg who mourn her passing. Born at Campe Verde, Arizona, Mrs Hilliard later resided at Mesa Arizona, where she was graduated from the Mesa High School. She was married to Eugene Clyde Hilliard July 13, 1922. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Carl, who is attending college in Phoenix. Interment was made in the Agulia Cemetery.
