HARRY KNAPP SUMMONED IN PHOENIX HOSPITAL TUESDAY. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD A 4 P.M. TODAY
Dr. Charles S. Poling of the First Presbyterian Church will conduct funeral services this afternoon (Friday) at the Wickenburg Chapel for Harry D. Knapp, a resident of Wickenburg for the past eight months. The services will be at 4 p. m. Mr Knapp passed away Tuesday at Memorial Hospital in Phoenix. Although he had been in ill health for 12 years, his condition did not become critical until March 16 when he was removed to the hospital.
RABBIT FANCIER
A rabbit fancier for more than 20 years, Mr Knapp completed a large rabbitry on Weaver Street early in February. The business was his hobby. A native of Highland, N. Y., where he was born December 26, 1879, he spent most of his life as a builder of roads all over the country.
THE SURVIVORS
Mr Knapp is survived by his wife, Jennie; a son, Smith Knapp of Poughkeepsie, N. Y.; a step-son, Chief Fred Warren of the U. S. Navy living in Alameda, Calif.; three daughters: Mrs Kim Fay and Mrs Evelyn Witherwax, both of Poughkeepsie, and Mrs Ray Rockefeller of Kent, Conn., and a sister, Mrs Frank Barton of Stanfordville, N. Y.
Burial will take place in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
