MCPHERSON, Joseph R.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, November 07, 2009 Joseph R. McPherson Jr. died Oct. 30, 2009, after complications from cancer. Joe was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Red Lake, Minn. He spent most of his life in real estate, the last 22 years in Prescott, Ariz. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his best friend and rock for over 25 years; five sons, Joe III (Kim), Jon (Rita), James (Donna), Jeffery (Phyllis) and Jerrod (Lisa); and two stepsons, Steve (Charlene) and Bruce Holweger. Joseph leaves behind 21 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Survivors also include his brothers, Allen McPherson of Grand Forks, N.D., and Richard (Carol) from the U.S. Virgin Islands. A celebration of Joseph's life will be at a later date. Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
