OBERAN, Jeanette M.

Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Thursday, April 30, 1987 Jeanette M Oberan, 82, of Wickenburg and Prescott, died April 17 in Prescott. She was born Oct 9, 1904 in Mansfield, Ohio. She has been a resident of Arizona for 68 years. She is survived by a son, Nicholas S. Oberan, of Phoenix; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Flood and Kate Spangler and two brothers, Fred Mautz and Ted Mautz. Oberan arrived in Wickenburg from Yuma at age 16 on horseback. She was married at age 17 to Nicholas Oberan, Sr, who preceded her in death in 1966. She worked for many years as a nurse in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. Services were April 21 [1987]at the Wickenburg Funeral Home, Bishop Mike Underwood officiating. Arrangements were made by the Wickenburg Funeral Home.
