Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona September 24, 1996 James William Schenk of Glendale died July 18 in Phoenix. He was 48. Mr. Schenk was born in 1948 in Chicago, Ill. He had lived in Arizona for the past 24 years coming from Illinois. He was a service manager for an automobile repair store. He had his own band when he lived in Illinois. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Wally and Laverne Storm of Wickenburg; daughter Christina Lea Schenk of Phoenix; son James W. Schenk, Jr. of Phoenix; brother William L. Schenk, Jr. of Buckeye; and sister Laverne Rizzo of Paradise Valley. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
