Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona October 2, 1996 Helen Lyman “Sis” DeShane of Cottonwood, died Sept. 27 in Cottonwood. She was 72. Mrs. DeShane was born may 23, 1924 in Redbluff, Okla. She came to Arizona when she was a 3 month old infant and lived here the rest of her life. She was a graduate of Wickenburg High School. Survivors include her husband, Daniel DeShane of Cottonwood; daughter Linda Wissenbach of Cottonwood and Nelda Lance of Prescott; grandson Daniel Smith, Shawn Stiner and Frankie Reeves; granddaughter Lacy Petersen; brothers Edward Lyman of Cottonwood and Fred Lyman of congress, and four great-grandchildren.
