Wilbur Robert Thorpe, 85, of Mayer, Ariz., born Feb. 4, 1921, in Prescott, Ariz., died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at Sunrise Funeral Home Chapel, 8167 E. Hiway 69, Prescott Valley.  Memorial service with military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at the same location.
