Herbert Robert Vickers, 81, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born Oct. 17, 1924, in Smithfield, R.I., died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Prescott.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Church of Latter Day Saints, Lynx Creek Ward, 7885 E. Long Look Drive, Prescott Valley.  Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the same location.
