Helen Fosen, 91, of Litchfield Park died Jan. 2, 2006.
Mrs. Fosen was born May 22, 1914, in Tacoma, Wash. She had worked as a bank manager and loan officer for First National Bank of Cloverdale, Calif., and Puget Sound National Bank in Tacoma. She was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Tacoma, Westridge Lutheran in Phoenix and the Sons of Norway.
Mrs. Fosen founded Trollhaugen Norwegian Language Camp in Washington state, and was named Woman of the Year by the Sons of Norway for her ambitious endeavors and dedicated service.
Mrs. Fosen was preceded in death by her husband, Einar Fosen.
She is survived by one son, Gerald Fosen of Litchfield Park; one brother, Walter Williamson of Gig Harbor, Wash.; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Westridge Lutheran Church, 8444 W. Encanto Blvd. in Phoenix, followed by a service at 10 a.m.
