GREEN, Kenneth (Ken)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, Sept. 21, 2007 Kenneth Green, 83, passed away Sept. 11, 2007, in Vancouver, Wash. Ken was born in Sterling, Colo., Nov. 11, 1923. He bravely served in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was a Captain for the Los Angeles Police Department. After retiring from the L.A. Police Department, Ken made Prescott his home. He had a tremendous love for travel and was eager to share his adventures with others. He is survived by his two daughters; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be laid to rest in the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Ore. He was a good friend and will be greatly missed. Information provided by survivors.
