WHITSON, John VanWyck

John VanWyck Whitson, 66, of Black Canyon City, an artist, died Jan. 13, 1999. He was born in New Brunswick, N.J., and was a Navy veteran. 

Survivors include his wife, Amelia; son, Michael; brothers, Peter, Paul and Louis; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

No services are planned. Brown's Colonial Mortuary.
