Joan Lucile Yoder Weaver, 75, of Scottsdale, a retired teacher, died Jan. 13, 1999. She was born in Vero Beach, Florida. 

Survivors include her husband, Arthur; sons, Timothy Allan, Thomas Arthur and Brent David; sisters, Helen Louise Leatherman, Mary Jeanette Yoder and Carolyn Genevieve Sauder; brothers, Richard Phillip, Joseph David and John Samuel Yoder; and seven grandchildren. 

Services: 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Drive, Scottsdale, with visitation one hour before. Contributions: Chrysalis Center for Battered Women and Abused Children, P.O. Box 1551, Scottsdale, AZ 85252. Messinger Mortuary and Chapel.
