Gerda Arlene Cole, 57, of Mesa, a hairdresser, died Dec. 29, 1999. She was born in Washington, Pa. 

Survivors include her sons, James and Brent; sister, Alta Farnella; brothers, Leslie and Melvin; and two grandchildren. 

Services: Monday, Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Road, Mesa.
