MENDIBLES, Johnny W.

Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, January 15, 2008 Johnny W. Mendibles, 66 years, of Superior, Ariz., went home to the Lord, Jan. 12, 2008. Johnny was born in Prescott, Ariz., to Alice (Arvizo) and Guillermo Mendibles on April 6, 1941. Johnny attended schools in both Prescott and Bagdad. He was a retired miner who worked at various mines throughout Arizona and New Mexico including the Iron King and Magma mines. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Gloria; devoted step-mother Mary Mendibles; brothers, Art (Esther), Peter (Debbie) and Joe; sisters, Alicia (Bobby), Linda (Bob) and Rosie (Rudy); children, John, James, Jeff, Joe, Bobby, Rosemary, Jody, Jeannette, Annette, Nannette, Maria and Brandi. John was preceded in death by his brother Willie and daughter Lucy. Services will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at the St. Francis Church in Superior, Ariz. Information provided by survivors.
