The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 1, 2003 Frank M. Schmitt, 60, of Phoenix, passed away December 27, 2002. He was born in Breckenridge, Minn. on June 14, 1942. Frank was a mechanical engineer in the aero space industry. He is survived by his wife, Susan; father, Carl Schmitt; children, Deborah Collier, Michael Schmitt, Matthew Schmitt and Aimee Sullivan; sisters, Mary Lawrence and Jane Kadlec and grandchildren, Devin, Sarah and Madeline Collier. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2003, Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix. Funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2003, St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10815 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix. Contributions may be made to Arizona Right to Life, 77 E. Columbus Ste. #209, Phoenix, AZ, 85012 or to MADD, 5150 N. 16th St., Ste. #B-146, Phoenix, Az., 85016.
