HARRISON, Catherine Emma

Catherine Emma Harrison, a retired teacher, died Friday, October 25, 1991 at a nursing home in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was 82. Funeral was Tuesday, October 29, 1991, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Burial in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Texas. Mrs. Harrison was born in Iowa and had lived in Grand Prairie for two years. She had previously lived in Washington state, Phoenix and Arlington. She received her master's degree from the University of Arizona and taught elementary school before her retirement. She was a member of First Christian Church of Arlington and the International Order of Foresters. Survivors: Son, Lyle Allen of Arlington; daughter, Mary Catherine Winkel of Bellevue, Wash.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Published October 27, 1991
