HICKS, Dave

Dave Hicks, 56, former Arizona Republic sports columnist, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 1991. Service 2 p.m. Monday, Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Wichita, Kansas. 

Survivors: wife, Melinda Charles of Phoenix; sons, Mark, Shawn, both of Phoenix; daughters, Marla Wellen of Vancouver, Wash., Lisa Patterson of Phoenix; mother, Irene; brothers, Don of Topeka, Ron of Olathe; grandmother, Myrtle Wick of Parsons; seven grandchildren. Memorial has been established with First Christian Church, Wichita, Kansas.
