SOTO, Vicente

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona May 1, 2007 Vicente Soto, 79, died April 26, 2007, in Avondale. Mr. Soto was born Oct. 15, 1927, in Alpine, Texas, and moved with his family to Arizona when he was a young man. They first settled in Stanfield, later moved to Chandler and Casa Grande and in 1966 moved to the Buckeye Valley. Mr. Soto worked for several farmers in the area including Bob Wilson, Lyle King and Phillip Turner. Mr. Soto was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen, and son, Danny. Mr. Soto is survived by seven daughters, Lorenza Soto of Buckeye, Toni Cruz of Buckeye, Stella Tellez of Avondale, Rosa Soto of Avondale, Adela Soto of Goodyear, Rachel Soto-Lerma of Avondale and Isabel Soto of Buckeye; two sons, Robert Soto of El Paso and Vincente Soto Jr. of Buckeye; one brother and three sisters. Services are pending. Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangments.
