LAIRD, JR., Robert Austin

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona March 20, 2007 Robert Austin Laird Jr., 88, of Avondale died March 10, 2007. Mr. Laird was born May 17, 1928, in Seattle to Vonnie and Robert Laird. He served in the military during the Korean War, and later was a member of the American Legion Post 61 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Laird is survived by one daughter, Kathie Kreider of Washington; one son, Donald Robert Laird of Washington; one brother, William Norman Laird of Washington; and two grandchildren. No services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made, in Mr. Laird's name, to American Legion Post 61, 35 N. Eighth St., Avondale, AZ 85323. Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear made the arrangements.
