Roberto Porfirio Diaz, 45, of Goodyear died Feb. 5, 2007, in Black Canyon City.

Mr. Diaz was born July 23, 1961, in Mexacali, Baja California, Mexico, to Sofia and Roberto Diaz. He moved to Arizona from California in 1997, and worked for several years as an auto mechanic for Allied Waste Services.

Mr. Diaz is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Diaz; two daughters, Diana and Karina; three sons, Roberto, Diego and Mario; two sisters, Guadalupe Flores and Nancy Diaz; and three brothers, Gerardo, Sergio and Alejandro.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Central Avenue at Loma Linda Boulevard in Goodyear. Service will be private.

Palm Funeral Home in Sun City made the arrangements.
