Deborah-Ann D. McCarthy, 55, of Avondale died Feb. 6, 2007, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Mrs. McCarthy was born March 30, 1951, in Hudson, Mass., to Rita and Fred Sugden. She married William McCarthy on Oct. 14, 1972, and the family moved to Arizona in 1989.

Mrs. McCarthy worked as a nurse for 25 years. She was involved with the Christian-based women's ministry, Aglow International, for several years.

Mrs. McCarthy is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Sharon Adams; one sister, Kathleen Galibois; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, to be followed by a service at 11 a.m., at Skyway Church of the West Valley, 14900 W. Van Buren St. in Goodyear.
