Carl Kenneth Getz, 79, of Prescott, Ariz., born Aug. 16, 1928, in Tremont, Ill., passed away Jan. 16, 2008, at Fort Whipple VA Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz. 

Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at Fort Whipple VA Chapel, 850 Highway 89 with Military Honors provided by the Honor Detail of the American Legion Post #6. 

Private cremation at Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley, Ariz. 

Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family.
