Gabriel B. King, died January 1, 2003. Born October 16, 1916, in Fredericktown, Missouri, the son of the late James and Mary Wilson King.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Hutchings King, one daughter, Jerrie Ueberle, of Phoenix, a sister, Audrey Buckner of Farmington, Missouri, numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless treasured friends, neighbors, and caregivers.
He was employed for 17 years at St. Joseph Lead Company in Flat River, Missouri, prior to moving to Phoenix in 1959. He retired after 22 years of service from the Circle K Corporation.
In retirement he enjoyed travel, visits from relatives and friends, and the strong network of caregivers who brought love, laughter, and joy to our family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 O'clock, Sunday, January 5 at the Japanese Friendship Garden, Hance Park; parking and entry at 1125 North 3rd Avenue.
